AVP.Live collects the information needed to operate your account, process ticket sales, deliver livestream access, and provide customer support. Buyer information is shared only with the organizer of the event for which the ticket was purchased. AVP.Live and that organizer may send occasional marketing email about future events; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe option, and opting out never affects ticket delivery or other transactional messages. We do not sell personal information. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data and only collect information necessary to operate the platform.
What we collect when you buy
When you buy a ticket or redeem an access code, we collect your email address and your order details (the event, ticket tier and amount paid). Your email delivers your ticket and event updates. AVP.Live and the event's organizer may also send occasional news about future events. Unsubscribe anytime.
Marketing email
When you buy a ticket or redeem access, your email may be used for marketing by both AVP.Live and the organizer of that event. AVP.Live may tell you about other events and updates across the platform, and each organizer may contact you only about their own events. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and opting out never affects your tickets or access.
Playback and technical data
To deliver streams securely and enforce limits such as how many screens can watch at once, we log technical information tied to your access, including your IP address, device and browser type, and playback events like when a stream starts, pauses, or is refused. We use this to run the stream, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix problems, and to show promotions how their broadcasts perform. Our video provider also receives playback quality data from the player so streams can be delivered and diagnosed.
Payments and service providers
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run the platform. Stripe handles all card payments, and card details are processed entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers. We also use providers for video hosting and streaming, for email delivery, and for database hosting and infrastructure. Each provider processes data only as needed to provide its service to us, and a current list is available on request.
How long we keep it
We keep your order and access information for as long as needed to provide the service, let you get back into things you have bought, and meet our tax and accounting obligations. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to work, to keep you signed in, to process checkout securely through our payment provider, and to play video. These essential cookies do not require consent, and we do not use cookies for advertising.
